According to a Chase Banker from a North Side location, Chase Bank has limited some ATMs that were formerly accessible twenty-four hours a day to the normal business hours of the branch.

When the banker was asked if the reduction in hours had anything to do with mentally disturbed homeless people sleeping in their vestibules, she was cagey in her response.

But when pushed she mentioned that a Chase banker in the Loop had recently been recently stabbed and killed.  That would seem to go a long way to  justify the reduced hours.
